Yikes!
Okay, so it's been over a month now since I posted last... I can't believe it. I used to be so good about it...but not anymore. So just a quick update...
**School is finished. It ended well and I've packed up my classroom and moved back to the high school already. Well, I haven't moved my things in yet--the classroom that I'm supposed to have is being cleaned, so I can't really move in until late summer. But I'm temporarily in my old classroom (my first one at SHS!!) and am currently teaching summer school there...in fact, I'm almost finished with the first semester!
**My student teaching ends in less than a month and I'm looking forward to August 9th, when I'm officially finished with my credential work. I know, it's about time.
**The apartment is great and is staying nice and cool in this summer heat. I need a few more things for the place (like couches), but I spent too much money at Ikea in February so I've banned myself from the store until my birthday...22 days left. Yes, I'm totally counting. hehe.
**I've been spending a lot of time with one of my coworkers, Jewely, and her husband. They've got me hooked on poker...I'm terrible, but it's fun to play anyway. They just got the cutest little puppy...of course, no cuter than Chloe. :-)
**Summer school ends on July 20th and then I'm going to spend a week of vacation in Oakland--the Red Sox will be in town. :-) I'm pretty excited about that since I'll be able to see all three games of the series! Yippee. I'll also hang out with a couple of friends that I have in the area, which should be fun. I haven't seen my friend Shawn since spring break! I'm really looking forward to it all...
**Jen turned 26 a few weeks ago. Reminds me of how old I am. 28. Yikes! hehe. I'm already looking into retirement homes...
**Found out that I'm going back to Italy again if I have student interest...yay!
I miss hangin out with my adx sistas...you guys rock, and I wish I could see you more often. Katie and Mandy, I think you're the only ones still in town, so we should really make an effort to get together soon!! Did anyone read Karalayne's myspace...? I don't want to ruin the news...so read it first and then be excited with me. :-)
