Tammy asked for an update...and since I'm on Easter Vacation right now, and really don't want to clean (like I should be) I thought I would oblige. :-)
Since our last update, it's been about a month. I have quite a few pictures to upload, but they're on Mark's camera and the battery is dead (and the charger is with him at work...I don't know why!). I promise to add them later! :-)
*Mark and I went to our first wedding as a married couple this past weekend. It was for Carmen (a coworker) and she made a good choice by sitting us near fun coworkers. I think Mark understands now why I love my job so much--there were lots of laughs and fun conversation at our table. The wedding was beautiful (though, the self-written vows were a little off-color and inappropriate), and Mark and I even managed to dance to one song before we left.
*I finally finished our Thank You cards from the wedding...today. Amazing, it took me less than four months. Etiquette says I have a year, and I laughed when I read that before the wedding--now I totally appreciate the fact that some people need a year! It's amazing how many things fill up your time once you're married. Who knew??
*Mark regrouted the tile in the downstairs bathroom, from brown to white, and it looks great. I think the kitchen is next, but that's a big project that he needs a whole day to tackle. He and I are planning a few more home improvements in the coming months. Among other things, we're hoping to paint both of the spare rooms a light neutral color, and maybe hang some of these photos that have been sitting since I moved my things in.
*We're also planning to have a yard sale. There are three tv stands in our living room right now, only one that we are actually using. We had his and hers, and now we have ours--so we need to get rid of the his and hers! Seems that way for most of our things, actually. We wanted to have the yard sale a few weeks ago, but couldn't get through the boxes piled in the spare room in time. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow on one of my last days off? It's okay though...time for some spring cleaning!
*I'm taking advantage of Easter vacation to spend some time with my girlie friends. Yesterday I had lunch with Breanne and her son Tyson--I hadn't seen them since....I think Christmas break! Friday I'm having lunch with my friend Duvi and her son Matthew. And Saturday, the much-anticipated lunch with Amanda! I don't think I have seen her since...the wedding? It feels that way, anyway. You'll have to remind me, Amanda...
*I'm really getting antsy and need a day/weekend out of town. Without dogs. Even just overnight would be fine. I had to get up twice last night to settle down the dogs because it was late and they were barking at...nothing, as far as I could tell. :-) They are almost a year old, so we are hoping that by two-years they are settled down, people-friendly, and don't try to lick our toes every time we wear sandals. :-) We have been taking them on walks, and Mark bought harnesses for them this week, and plans to (try to) run them this weekend.
Will update again soon...within two weeks! Promise! And will get those pictures up ASAP.

Two thoughts:
1. By a "gentle leader" for each of the dogs. They work amazingly well. Pet stores should have them, as does our vet clinic.
2. I love going to weddings with Ryan. I kinda say my vows to him (in my head) again each time we go.
Thanks for the update. Hope you're enjoying Easter.
I can't wait to see all the improvements you have done to your house! Can't wait to get together have have some girlie time with you as well!
