two TGIF's in one week!
Why two? Well, for me, Friday is the day before a day (or two) with no work. Since I took today off, that means yesterday was a figurative "Friday"...and tomorrow is the real Friday. :-) See, if you do the math (which I do...all the time), that's TWO!! So TGIF to me twice this week!
Really, people should be allowed to take Thursdays off every week...it's a great feeling!
So, I spent today at the coast. The time away was exactly what I needed...a relaxing break from the routine of work and from life here in the Valley. I love to get away every once in a while, but driving usually takes so much out of me. This trip was especially nice because I didn't have to drive!

Those are GREAT pics! Did you get a new camera?
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the pictures! No, I didn't get a new camera, but I did borrow mom and dad's for the trip over that day...my batteries were dead. Those turned out pretty good, didn't they? I'm a big fan of the jellyfish, though I do wish it was a bit more crisp--it's a little fuzzy. :-)
